Hello St. Luke and Christ the King Families!
Lent is upon us! I pray that this season of solemn preparation for Easter brings you all closer to Christ. There are a multitude of opportunities to also grow closer to our St. Luke community. Below you will find more details about those opportunities for our youth.
Here is the schedule for the next few weeks, I hope to see you soon!
Saturday 3/22: Seasons of Service Event
Sunday 3/23: High School Ministry Small Groups! (7:00-8:30 in the Youth Center)
Wednesday 3/26: Middle School Ministry (7:00-8:30 in the Youth Center)
Sunday 3/30: High School Ministry Small Groups! (7:00-8:30 in the Youth Center)
3/22: Seasons of Service: Tri Parish Food Bank: This is an Archdiocese event at the Tri-Parish Food Bank. All day (9-4) serving community members in Burlington. This event is family friendly, parents must either accompany their child all day, or arrange for another adult to be present with them, no drop offs.
Lenten Small Groups: Lenten Small groups are back! We'll be working through Bishop Barron's Lenten Gospel Reflections this year, going deep into the word each day and then meeting to discuss. (

This is a great opportunity for youth to grow in their understanding and devotion to the gospel, as well as to build stronger bonds with their peers!
I pray that 2025 brings with it tidings of peace and hope. In keeping with the spirit of the Jubilee Year, I am looking forward in joyful anticipation of the blessings to come. As His Holiness Pope Francis so beautifully expressed it: "We must fan the flame of hope that has been given us, and help everyone to gain new strength and certainty by looking to the future with an open spirit, a trusting heart and far-sighted vision."
Blessings,
Alex P
